John OK after Surgery

John's surgery yesterday went well. They fixed two inguinal hernias in his groin and the umbilical hernia in his belly button (since they were there). He was under for about an hour and was very cranky when awakened. He resumed his normal routine, albeit uncomfortably given the amount of gas inside him from the surgery. We had a long night with the apnea monitors going off every few minutes due to mechanical issues and his reflux, but he did fine. He will be discharged later today. Grandma Ellen is here to spend some time with him and spell us during the day.
