Happy Labor Day!

We started the day early since Bubeaner decided to wake up at 5a.  Even after eating he was wide awake.  Dad tried convincing him to sleep a little longer.  Bubeaner's answer?  Singing at the top of his lungs while knocked on the headboard.  This made for a sleepy Bubeaner later in the morning.

We headed off to aunt AA and uncle Gary's home for a Labor Day cookout in the afternoon.  Bubeaner took his walker to show them his new moves.  It took him some time to warm up but was soon in his element.  He specially enjoyed the hamburger patti that cousin K cooked him.  Of course, he was watched carefully since Bubeaner likes to stuff his mouth.  He also tried some pickles and potato chips.  But the hamburger was his favorite.

We enjoyed our slow weekend spending quality time with Dad and aunt Pau.  Dad returns to work tomorrow.  We worry since his back is really bothering him.  The pain is so bad at times that we are not sure how he will be able to make it until his surgery in 2 weeks.
