WE LOVE THE RAIN!!! It's been raining nonstop since Friday. The lakes have been filling up again. We would have preferred to have gotten the same amount of rain in the course of a month. But WE LOVE THE RAIN!!!!
The nurses thought it was cute. (Of course!)
But more importantly, Bubeaner slept through the night!
He had been waking up every 2-3 hours the previous two nights. We figured he may have caught Momma's cold. He coughed a couple of times and had a slightly (very slight) elevated temperature; it was not technically a fever. And he did have a lot of drainage. This may have also been upsetting his tummy; he was back to explosive reflux despite the Nexium. He spent most of both nights in our bed. He appeared to get more sleep there although we got less. A LOT LESS.
It was wonderful to get more sleep last night. Especially since Bubeaner spent the entire night in his crib. YAY Bubeaner!
Sunday aunt Pau taught Bubeaner how to drink through a straw.
It's a good thing since he refuses to use a sippy cup.
The rest of they morning was spent running errands throughout the metroplex. There should be a special place in heaven for the person that came up with drive-thru idea! They are wonderful and truly time-savers when working with an baby. Pharmacy, dry cleaners, banks, coffee (hehehe)... it usually takes longer to get all our stuff together and Bubeaner down and back in the car than the time actually spent inside But with the drive thru it's done in a breeze without disturbing the baby! Someone should consider a drive-thru pet drop off at the groomers and vet.
Should we be worried?
The kitchen is now off limit.
In the afternoon wejoined Dad as he completed his pre-surgical work-up. He is still in a lot of pain, but hopefully the surgery next week will improve that.
