Terrible Two's Tuesday?

Is it too early for the Terrible Twos to hit at 17 months?  Ok, we are giving Bubeaner the benefit of the doubt and blaming it on teething.  The morning was a wonderful.  Momma and Dad woke up so early (430a) that we were able to get tons of things done before Bubeaner even woke up.  This allowed us to have a family breakfast!  Bubeaner was thrilled and giggly.

We also made it to mass this morning again.  Bubeaner wanted to prove his big-boy status by walking everywhere.  He walked up to communion with Momma and walked back.  Thankfully, we were at the end so we did not slow traffic too much.  And then he also insisted on walking out.  It took quite a long time since Momma and Bubeaner disagreed as to which direction we needed to go.  He drew a lot of attention.  But instead of smiling and flirting as usual, Bubeaner would give every lady that got close his "Nasty Look" (see above for an example).  He was in no mood to be disturbed.  Bubeaner also threw a little fit when we finally got to the car.  He was not ready to go home.

The rest of the day he was just a little ornery.  He was still loving and cuddling even giving kisses freely to his lovey, Momma and Meme'Licia.  But he was going to do what he wanted when he wanted the way he wanted.  Meme'Licia had to take a few toys away because he insisted on throwing them.  At one point we even had to take away his ballpit because he was insistent on emptying.

However, it was good night.  Dad had a doctor's appointment late this afternoon and was able to get home early enough to catch Bubeaner before bedtime.  Dad then took us to a family dinner.  We delayed his bedtime a little, but spending time with Dad was worth it.

Bubita has been a little quiet today probably because Momma has taken it a little slow too recuperating from yesterday.  But as usual she has been more active since nightfall.  The belly is now HUGE.  We can't imagine how much bigger it will get since Bubita is not allowed to make her grand appearance for at least 15 more weeks.
