Aunt Pau and Momma spent almost all day running from store to store stocking up the pantry. We really had not done this since we left to visit the grandparents. It was sorely needed. Sadly this meant that we did not spend that much time with Bubeaner today. Momma was so exhausted at the end of the day that Meme'Licia even had to make and feed Bubeaner his dinner. And it was heartbreaking. Even though they are things that must be done, it's hard not to feel guilty about not spending that time with him. Meme'Licia did mention that he had a good day which was comforting.
And Momma and Bubeaner did spend a good morning together. We were up early and were able to make it to weekday mass, even in the rain. This is something we have wanted to get back in the habit of doing. It's a little easier with Bubeaner toddling since Momma does not have to carry him everywhere. That is getting harder to do with a growing belly. Although, he does not appear to mind. We've just come up with a different way of cuddling.
Hopefully, tomorrow will be a quieter day where we can spend some quality and quantity time together.
