Still Sick

Bubeaner has been attempting to feed himself using utensils. He tried eating his waffles with a fork this morning. He couldn't quite get the fork to the waffle. So he would pick up a piece of waffle, put it on the fork then eat it from there. He did this for a while until he got tired and just started eating it using his hands.


He also found his brush today and immediately started brushing his hair. He had much better success with this. And of course, he loved all the praise he got about being such a smart and handsome boy. But his favorite thing to do above all is brushing his teeth. He LOVES to brush them. He will walk around with his toothbrush brushing and brushing. We sometimes worry he's going to wear his teeth down from so much brushing.

Unfortunately, we are still sick. Bubeaner's cold appears to not be getting any worse. But Momma's cold took a turn towards a sinus infection. So after a quick trip to Dr. A and the pharmacy we stayed home. Bubeaner was not very understanding nor patient. He's been getting a lot more attention and love during his illness and wanted the same today. He did not want to be alone, so Momma took a nap in his play area while he played. Well at least attempted to take a nap since Bubeaner thought it was great fun to body slam onto Momma. He also enjoyed pulling Momma's hair and opening her eyelids to see her eyes. Eventually, he wore down and also took a nap.
