Artic Blast

Ok, so the cold weather is just starting to get here. And it's not yet officially REALLY cold, but every year Dad and Momma enjoy joking about which TV station will be the first to over dramatize a cold front with "ARTIC BLAST COVERAGE". It never fails to amuse.


Of course, it's not so funny when your home thermostat is not working (AGAIN). We are NOT pleased. First, the A/C maintenance company's 15 minute response time for emergencies was more like 60+ minutes. Second, it's the SAME problem from last time. And third, they can't send anyone over until tomorrow, maybe. Displeased, does not even begin to cover our feelings right now.



Thankfully, the day was not all bad news. Bubeaner went to his GI check up today. Dr. O was pleased with Bubeaners growth and weight gain. We are going to start weaning him off the Nexium! And he was able to "help" Momma decorate the Christmas tree. We are keeping the decorations to a minimum this year. But Bubeaner does not seem to mind.
