How Time Flies

Our baby boy is now 20 months old.  Twenty months old!!!  Where in the world did the time go?  And as much as we (OK, mainly Momma) want to see him as still a baby, he's now a little boy.  He's independent and active.  He really has blossomed in the last couple of weeks.  We've seen the changes in his gym class.  And this morning we noticed it more at the play area in the mall.  He was not shy about running around (cautiously, though) and climbing on and off everything he could find.  Of course, Momma Bear almost came out when children clearly too big/old to be kept bumping into him.  But Bubeaner did a good job of taking care of himself.
 

And though he's been more independent, recently he has had a strong attack of Mommitis.  We are not sure if it's because he senses he's soon going to be sharing his throne.  Either way Momma is LOVING it!  It just means more loving and cuddling time.  Momma is taking advantage of it now since in a couple of weeks, she won't be able to carry him.  (So sad about that....)  Dad's looking forward to that time.  That's when he became really attached to his father.

Yes, time does fly indeed.  Today, we took aunt Lari to get her driving permit!  Momma still remembers changing her diapers and feeding her as a baby.  (Bubeaner's impatience with not getting his food fast enough as a baby was NOTHING compared to aunt Lari as a baby.)  And, yet, now she's going to be driving.  Oh, my!
