Birthday Dinner

We are still working on Bubeaner's nap and bedtime schedule.  We still don't feel like he is getting all the sleep and rest he needs.  Bita did remind Momma that sometimes babies have different sleeping needs than we expect (Momma refused to take any more naps when she was a lot younger than Bubeaner).  She recommended we just follow his lead.

Today we took it pretty easy during the day.  Bubeaner had a very important date.  Ms. Debbie was celebrating her birthday today, and her daughter had planned a surprise dinner party for her.  So Bubeaner and Momma headed north to Dad's work to meet up with them.  Traffic was horrendous but we were still able to make it time for the surprise.

Bubeaner enjoyed the dinner.  He particularly enjoyed spending extra time with Dad.  He tried a little bit of everything we ordered.  We found out he loves mozzarella sticks.  For some strange reason, Bubeaner loves and will eat cheese in every form except fresh.  Completely confused as to this, but at least he eats it.  It would be hard to live in our home and NOT appreciate the wonderful taste of cheese.

We had hoped he would sleep during the long drive back, but he actually stayed awake.  He entertained the Momma with songs and a lively conversation.  He did go to sleep without a problem once he was home even though it was WAY past his bedtime.
